Nice app, although there are some things missing: would be great to be able to set a standard (Dropbox) folder that opens up right away for people that just use a 1-folder structure. Also Im not a big fan of the icon. Maybe it could have a more neutral color.

This apps surprising killer feature is the file browser. You can add folders to it from various data sources, including (my highlight) Dropbox: compared to other Dropbox-enabled text editing apps on the market, 1Writer supports kind of symlinking Dropbox folders into the file browser. You can pick various folders and add them all to the browser for quick access. Makes a lot of sense to quickly get to different writing projects. The Markdown editor is great. It features a useful custom keyboard. And the text input is highlighted on the fly: you dont have to wait to invoke a preview to see how your text will render. Instead, bold and italics are shown in the editing screen, as are headings etc. -- just like other grown-up and syntax aware editors for Mac. This is the only one I know which handles Markdown on iOS so well. Finally, my iPad Air 2 (which may or may not be more capable than older devices) can handle my whole Zettelkasten notes archive. Thats 3500+ individual note files! No lags perceived whatsoever. Great app. Its a steal for the professional writer.

Need a way to add Dropbox’s root account

The latest update brought a bunch of great features which make this a great app. The ability to disable inline preview is great and the new full screen mode is much better. I like this app and it preforms better than the other minimal text editors I use on my iPad 3. Thanks

Great app, simple and featureful.

Love the nice clean UI. Everything seems intuitive and well thought through. Its nice to have Dropbox integration, its going to make blogging with this app great. My only request would be to support other plain text document types. I would love to be able to write some HTML as well. Hopefully we will see this in a future update.

I tried to like this but not really why its worth 2.99, or rather why youre asking that for it. Ill mess with it later.

I think this app is by far better than byword and ia writer. It is incredibly underrated. Im surprised this app isnt more popular than it is now. To the developers: please keep up your work hard work and commitment to make this app superior than the rest.

The best iOS Markdown editor. Im currently using 1Writer on iOS and Byword on OS X. If the developers 1Writer for Mac is as good as his/her iOS version, he/she will take a lot of marketshare away from todays most popular apps.

Ive tried a good number of editors for iOS and this is by far the best Ive found. Fast, full-featured and scriptable.

Great app. One of the top text editors on iOS. This app is on my home screen. I use it every day.

In my experience, this is overall the best iPhone notes app. However, I get constant pop-ups when using it on the subway telling me that Dropbox can’t be reached, note failed to sync, etc. This is more than an annoyance, and the app might be best avoided by anyone who plans to access their notes offline more than occasionally.

保存先をDropBoxにしてMacではnvalt、iPhoneでは1Writerといった具合に、クラウドメモとして使っています。Markdownの編集、閲覧が出来るのでちょっとしたマニュアルづくりにも重宝しています。Evernoteはスペースや改行をなにかの拍子に置き換える事があるので自分の用途では使い物になりません。操作も快適です。

ブログ下書き投稿やDayOne投稿、メモなどに利用しています。 決め手はDropbox同期とアプリ内ブラウザ、融通のきくアクション、拡張キーです。 アクションは1Writer投稿ページや他アプリ用のアクションをカスタマイズしてます。 安定してて、Dropbox同期エラーが発生してもデフォルト設定したフォルダに 直前まで作業してたファイルを複製できるので安心して使えます。 日本語化してるので使いやすいです。 願望としては、デフォルトキーボードを分割してる時は拡張キーが反応しないので、 分割してる時でも拡張キーが使いたいです。 縦でiPad miniで使っているとカスタマイズできる拡張キーは8個しかないのですが、 アクション呼び出しキー以外は全部カスタマイズしたいです。 外部からアクションを起動できるスキームがあったらいいなと思います。 I want to use extension keys, even when default keyboard splits. Because I use vertical iPad mini, extension keys can be customized are only eight. Id like to customize the extension keys all, other than the action call keys. If 1Writer can run Action by scheme, that will please me.

Release the Mac app for 5 stars!!
